Ovid, Michigan – With their launch of the triple-stacked G3 series using exceptional proprietary germplasm, Great Lakes Hybrids has taken the lead in the genetics race.

“For the past 20 years, Great Lakes Hybrids has achieved the highest winning percentage of championships, of every major seed company, in the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) National Corn Yield Contest. Ninety percent of the NCGA wins were using a traited hybrid (YGCB, YGRW, RR2 or stacked). The G3 series will build on this winning record,” said Stephenson.

Great Lakes Hybrids has developed six of its top champions as triple-stacked G3 hybrids effectively marrying the world’s top breeding technology, germplasm and yield protection in one hybrid series. Those hybrids – 4297 G3, 5098 G3, 5377 G3, 5961 G3, 6518 G3 and Quad-5 G3 – are available now for 2006 planting.
