2005 grower survey shows high satisfaction with Monsanto’s YieldGard® Plus and Roundup Ready® Corn 2

YieldGard® Plus Corn and Roundup Ready® Corn 2 both received high marks in a 2005 grower survey, with over 90 percent of surveyed farmers saying they were satisfied with the maximum in-plant insect protection of YieldGard Plus and with the effective weed-control of the Roundup Ready Corn 2 System.

Kentucky reports first state positive for Asian soybean rust in Caldwell county

First Texas finding of Asian soybean rust confirmed

Asian soybean rust – a potentially serious fungus of soybean crops – has been found for the first time in Texas. Dr. Tom Isakeit, Texas Cooperative Extension plant pathologist, found the fungus on kudzu leaves he collected on Nov. 2 near Dayton in Liberty County.
