The National Corn Growers Association is leading the effort to create learning tools that will educate corn growers on the importance of Insect Resistance Management, Weed Resistance Management and considering the export and marketing implications of each corn hybrid – before they plant.
There are now online, educational modules for these topics at www.ncga.com. These are designed to educate corn growers and offer certified crop advisors and farm managers an opportunity to receive Continuing Education Units.
The NCGA’s Know Before You Grow® database is an easy to use tool that cross-references biotechnology events and approval status in the US, Japan and Europe. More importantly, this database allows farmers to check the status of hybrids they are considering planting. Currently, growers can rapidly reference more than 3,300 hybrids produced by 77 seed companies (including all the Great Lakes offerings).
Please take a few moments and visit these learning modules at the link above.
