Agriculture Online Correspondent Laura Karlen is back home in Iowa after her crop-scouting tour of South America. In a final report, she shares her impressions of agriculture in Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and Uruguay.

“I feel very fortunate to have had such an amazing opportunity to travel and learn about each of these countries first hand,” she writes. “Not only did I travel as an agronomist, reporter, and interpreter, but as a world citizen expanding my understanding of humanity.”
