Here’s this week’s report from the Univ. of Missouri
Winners of the National Corn Yield Contest give their secrets for success in the National Corn Growers Association 2006 Winners Corn Yield Guide.
The 44-page booklet provides agronomic information, stories and advice from all 27 top finishers of the most recent NCYC.
Learning the “secrets” of yield contest winners has been an important element of the competition since it began in 1965, said NCGA President Ken McCauley.
“We want to see the results to find out who’s our ‘best of class’ and how they did it,” he said.
Great Lakes 44 entries in this year’s contest produced 15 wins – 34% of every GLH entry won a state or national championship. Click here to see all our results
