Here’s the latest from the University of Wisconsin.

  • Giant Ragweed Concerns on the Rise
Giant ragweed has increased as a problem weed in both corn and soybean in Wisconsin over the past decade. It is certainly one of our most competitive weeds and has also proven to be quite adaptive.
  • Acetochlor Formulations Labeled on Sweet Corn
Dow received EPA approval for the preplant, preplant incorporated, and preemergence use of acetochlor (Surpass and TopNotch) and the atrazine premixtures (FulTime, Keystone LA, and Keystone) on sweet corn (supplemental labels on cdms.net).
  • Expanded Acetochlor Crop Rotation Options
Dow recently received EPA approval on a series of acetochlor supplemental labels that expand crop rotation options.
