5335X2

Placement Tips: 5335X2 is a very solid 103 day product offering the Herculex I® insect protection. 5335X2 has very good emergence and seedling vigor making in a good choice for reduced or no till situations, it also has good stress tolerance making it a good choice for the more rugged soils. 5335X2 offers very good standability with especially good roots. 5335X2 has girthy ears with some flex and good grain quality with very good dry down for maturity. 5335X2 is tolerant to Liberty® herbicide which allows an alternative to glyphosate products.
Placement vs. Competitors: 5335X2 is very competitive vs. other Herculex I® products as well as other insect protected products of similar maturity.
Strengths: Good emergence, seedling vigor and stress tolerance.
Weaknesses: Susceptible to Grey Leaf Spot so application of a foliar fungicide may be beneficial.

6381X2 & X3

Placement Tips: 6381 is a high yielding 113 day hybrid available in both Herculex I® and Herculex Xtra® insect protection. Over the past 2 years 6381 has been one of the highest yielding products in AgReliant Genetics NET testing. 6381 is very quick out of the ground and has very good seedling vigor making it a good choice for reduced and no tillage situations. 6381 has large girthy ears with deep kernels and good flex so high populations are not necessary to achieve high yields. 6381 is adapted to most soils but best performance will be on the more productive soils. 6381 is tolerant to Liberty® herbicide which allows an alternative to glyphosate products.
Placement vs. Competitors: 6381 is very competitive vs. all competitive products of similar maturity.
Strengths: Excellent ear flex, emergence and seedling vigor, stress tolerance.
Weaknesses: 6381 has average grain quality and can be susceptible to Grey Leaf Spot so application of a foliar fungicide may be beneficial.
