2013 Travel Information Updated

Now that the 2012 trips are completed (and they were oustanding!), we have posted information on next winter’s trips to Oahu and Kauai.

Join us in Hawaiian paradise in late January for relaxation and adventure in Oahu and Kauai. We start with a three day pre-extension at the Sheraton Waikiki on Oahu. From there, we head to the Grand Hyatt at Poipu Bay on Kauai. These two resorts are outstanding! The Grand Hyatt was voted the #4 resort in all of the Hawaiian islands last year.

Dates: Oahu – January 25-28, Kauai – Jan 28 thru Feb 3

Last year, Jim Specht and Patricio Grassini, University of Nebraska agronomists, well documented that, on average, Nebraska farmers plant soybeans two weeks earlier than they did in 1980. In 1980, half the soybean crop was planted by May 25; in 2012, half the crop was planted by May 11.
