Great Lakes Hybrids corn can be ordered with Poncho® 250 or 1250 – subject to availability. Poncho is a seed-applied insecticide that plants easily and precisely with excellent water solubility to keep it in the root zone where it is needed. Each unit of Poncho from Great Lakes Hybrids includes Trilex® FL fungicide for extra protection from seeding diseases when planting into cooler, wetter soils.

Both Poncho 250 and 1250 control black cutworm (supression), wireworm, white grub, seed corn maggot, corn flea beetle, grape colaspis, southern green stink bug, southern corn leaf beetle, chinch bug, corn leaf aphid and corn thrips. Poncho 1250 also controls corn rootworm and southern corn billbug.
