New Seed Outperforms Saved Seed

Great Lakes® Hybrids advise all its customers and dealers that saving seed from any Roundup Ready® or Genuity™ Roundup Ready 2 Yield® soybean is in direct violation of United States patent law and may bring legal action by Monsanto Technology LLC, which can result in crop destruction and/or monetary penalties if found guilty in a court of law.

Seeds containing the Roundup Ready® trait or the Genuity™ Roundup Ready 2 Yield™ trait are protected under one or more United States patents, including but not limited to patent numbers 5,352,605 and RE39,247. It is unlawful to save Roundup Ready® soybeans or Genuity™ Roundup Ready 2 Yield™ soybeans for planting or transfer to others for use as a planting seed.
